Services for runners

  1. -Free parking near the Empúries Archaeological Museum and in the museum grounds and near the areas of the start and finish line.
  2. -Locker services at the start and finish line areas.
  3. -Platform and stage with background music.
  4. -Refreshment stations every 5 km (during the first 22 km) and then every 2 km (during the last 20 km). Water, isotonic drinks, fruit and Vaseline.
  5. -Massages a selection of fruit and isotonic drinks for after the race.
  6. -Medical services and ambulance.

Tasting of L’Escala anchovies

On the 28th of April, after 17.00 the sports centre will be holding a culinary Tasting of L’Escala Anchovies for all marathon participants and their supporters. When you pick up your number you can try one of the town’s traditional foods - the internationally - renowned L’Escala Anchovy.

As with previous races, the organisation will award all runners with a hi-tech marathon T-shirt, shirt commemorating the anniversary of the Marathon, a jar of L’Escala Anchovies a commemorative medal, a photo-diploma (with time and classification) a pack of diverse products and other prizes to be determined.
